Connect Chronoid to ChatGPT
Chronoid answers questions about your tracked time using the data on your Mac. It must be installed, running and online to answer requests. Visit chronoid.app for the current Mac requirements, download and licensing information.
Connect your Mac
- Start connecting Chronoid from ChatGPT.
- On the connection page, choose Open Chronoid to connect.
- Approve read access in the Chronoid app.
- Return to the same browser and choose Finish connecting.
If an older Chronoid version does not open the connection dialog, expand Using an older version of Chronoid? on the connection page and follow its instructions. Treat your connector URL like a password and paste it only into the Chronoid connection page at mcp.chronoid.app.
If the connection does not finish
- Keep Chronoid running and check Settings → Integrations → AI Connectors.
- Use the browser that started the connection. Private browsing or another browser will not have the approval cookie.
- If the invitation expired, start a new connection from ChatGPT. Invitations last ten minutes.
- If you regenerated your connector URL, reconnect in ChatGPT to authorize the new connection.
What can I ask?
- What did I work on yesterday?
- Summarize my tracked time last week.
- When did I have my longest focus sessions this week?
- Summarize my project hours for billing.
The ChatGPT connection is read-only. Manage projects, rules and time entries in Chronoid.
